Eploy + telephony

Eploy phone system integration for recruitment and talent teams

Eploy is a UK cloud recruitment platform used by in-house talent acquisition teams and RPO operations as well as agencies, which makes its telephony requirement subtly different. When you are recruiting on behalf of a client or as part of an employer’s own team, the call is part of that organisation’s candidate experience — and somebody will eventually ask you to evidence how quickly and how well those calls were handled.

In short
  • Integrated dialling and screen-pop inside the platform your team already works in.
  • Service-level reporting on inbound candidate calls, not just outbound activity counts.
  • Recording governance built for organisations whose clients or boards ask questions.
  • Clean data separation where you run recruitment on behalf of more than one organisation.
01

Candidate experience is a reportable thing

If you deliver recruitment for an employer — as an RPO, an MSP supplier or an in-house function — the phone is part of the experience you are accountable for. Call data is how you evidence it.

  • Average time to answer an inbound candidate call, and the proportion never answered at all.
  • Whether voicemails left by candidates are returned, and how quickly.
  • Whether calls are answered within the hours your careers site and adverts advertise.
  • Consistency between recruiters, which recordings make visible rather than anecdotal.
  • Evidence when a candidate complaint reaches the client, rather than two conflicting accounts.

Reporting on inbound service levels is straightforward once telephony is designed for it. Retrofitting it after a stakeholder has already asked the question is considerably less comfortable.

What we integrate with Eploy

Confirmed against your Eploy configuration, licence and API access at design stage.

  • Click-to-dial from candidate, contact, company and vacancy records.
  • Inbound screen-pop with disambiguation when a number matches multiple records.
  • Automatic activity logging with direction, duration, outcome and a link to the recording.
  • Structured outcomes so reporting is consistent across recruiters and campaigns.
  • Per-brand or per-client caller identity where you recruit on behalf of more than one organisation.
  • Routing and hours configured per campaign or per client programme.
  • Optional AI call summaries and next actions written back through Atom Insight.

Running recruitment for more than one organisation

Where an RPO or MSP arrangement is involved, the data boundaries matter as much as the features.

  • Separate numbers, greetings and hours per client programme, so candidates hear the right brand.
  • Reporting scoped per programme, so one client’s data is not visible in another’s pack.
  • Recording access restricted by team or programme rather than open to everyone.
  • Retention configured to whatever each arrangement requires, not a single blanket setting.
  • A documented offboarding path for the end of a contract, designed at the start rather than improvised.
  • Security and data-handling documentation for the due diligence that inevitably accompanies these contracts.

Eploy telephony scoping checklist

  • Whether you operate as an agency, an in-house team, an RPO or a mixture.
  • How many client programmes or brands need separate numbers and reporting.
  • The inbound service levels you are asked to evidence, if any.
  • Existing Eploy reports that call data should feed.
  • Recording retention requirements, which may differ per client.
  • Access boundaries between teams or programmes.

Frequently asked questions

Does Eploy support telephony integration?

Eploy is a cloud platform with API access, so telephony integration is a normal proposition. Exactly what is available depends on your configuration and licence, which we confirm before making any promises about it.

We run recruitment for several client brands. Can calls be kept separate?

Yes. Numbers, greetings, opening hours, reporting and recording access can all be scoped per brand or programme, so externally candidates hear the right organisation and internally the data stays where it should.

Our client asks for candidate response times. Can we report on those?

Yes, and telephony is usually the missing half of that answer. Answer times, abandonment and voicemail return rates come from the phone platform rather than the CRM, and they can be scheduled as a regular report.

Can you support an in-house talent team rather than an agency?

Yes. The design differs — less emphasis on campaign dialling, more on candidate experience, service levels and stakeholder reporting — but the underlying platform and integration approach are the same.
